My Vision of You Calming the Storms-Lent 24, 2020

Prayer Focus: No Storm Too Big

Thank You, Lord Jesus, that there is no storm so big, no wave so terrifying, no problem so complicated, no trouble so debilitating, and no strife in our lives that is beyond Your ability to resolve it for our good and Your glory. When we’re terrified beyond reasoning, when You seem far away or fast asleep, increase our faith so we would seek You and be amazed at Your actions to calm the storms and calm our spirits. We trust that we are more valuable in Your eyes than sparrows or lilies because we have been endowed with Your image. Our names are written in heaven and we rejoice! You know us. We are Your sheep, the sheep of Your pasture and You, Lord, are the Good Shepherd who protects us. You have compassion on us, our names are engraved on the palms of Your hands. You will not forget us nor forsake us. As the storms of life swirl around us, Lord Jesus, remind us that in Your Word, You commanded the sea “Quiet! Be still” and it was. Give us the peace that transcends all understanding to face the days ahead. We love You, Lord Jesus, and our eyes are on You for our deliverance. Amen.
