Easter Sunday 2026 He is Risen

He is Risen!  He is Risen, Indeed!  That same Easter greeting means the same thing no matter what language one uses!

The one and only Gospel offers the same mercy we’ve sought throughout these Lenten devotionals.  The greatest mercy, the greatest hope–they are found in the greatest expression of love ever shown to mankind! It was a once in all eternity event, the Son of God crucified for mankind. It is never to be repeated, never to be altered, never to be rescinded, and never to be robbed of its power.  Why?

As John Kass writes in this final excerpt for our devotional series, “Lord, Have Mercy!”,

“He is all about love.
May His love comfort you and remain.”

John 3:16″For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. 18 Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because He has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what He has done has been done through God.”

When He returns, it will be in Judgment
as the era of mercy concludes upon His return.
But for now, the offer of mercy, given in the purest love remains.
While the offer of mercy remains open, please consider accepting His invitation.
Death has been conquered.
An eternity of love and mercy awaits your acceptance

of His offer that is already there.

This concludes the Lenten devotional series “Lord, Have Mercy!” Thank you for joining me.

Happy Resurrection Day! He is Risen! He is Risen, Indeed!
